PPS' original mandate was to provide chemical paint stripping services to custom coaters in the Southern Ontario Region. Due to efforts to continually seek out new markets, the line card grew to include additional surface preparation services such as grit blasting.

In 1996, PPS began working with one of the Big Three auto makers, applying specialty coatings to brake shoes. This increased the number of parts processed by over 2 ˝ million. During the company’s growth however, management recognized that as the volume of parts processed at PPS increased, the potential occurrence of non-conformances would also rise without a comprehensive quality plan.

PPS began installing a formalized quality system. The result of which is ISO 9002 and QS-9000 certification. This recognition is a reflection on the team's dedication to superior results.

As PPS enters new markets this commitment to a consistently high level of quality is crucial. The content and effort contained in PPS' Quality Manual affirms this commitment to the role of quality in the future of our Company.

The major industries PPS services include Aerospace and Automotive sectors, as well as general industrial applications.

A sampling of the types of parts which may be found in the PPS plant are aircraft landing gear, brake shoes, brake drums, brake rotors, tire moulds and a variety of other automotive and general industrial parts. PPS has 26,000 square feet of production and warehousing space.
